Will Ferrell: Interesting that you ask, because I'm actually entertaining the thought of doing him in this weekend's show, in light of the fact that the Cubs have made the playoffs.
Question: How did you come up with this sketch? Is it based on real people?
Chris Kattan: We saw a guy in LA, in a bar, standing against the wall alone, just kind of moving to the music and scoping the room out and we literally stood next to him and imitated him, and thus the idea was born.
Question: Who was your favorite celebrity that did a Roxbury Guys skit with you? You guys totally rock! -- Amanda
Will Ferrell: Thank you Amanda! Our favorites were Jim Carrey, Tom Hanks ... and Carol Channing.
Chris Kattan: And the dog from Frasier.
Question: Do you guys act the way you do in SNL in real life or are you just two normal guys?
Will Ferrell: Normal -- if you call collecting guns "normal"!
Chris Kattan: Or instead of saying "Hi", immediately humping!
Premiere: Someone once said that comedians are tortured souls? Is that true?
Chris Kattan: Somewhat
Will Ferrell: I think everyone in comedy has a little bit of something going on in that department.
Question: Hey will there be a Mango movie?
Chris Kattan: Oh no! I really doubt it!
Question: What is your favorite part of your job?
Chris Kattan: Working with Cameron Diaz
Will Ferrell: Getting to wear makeup
Premiere Online: Was it difficult filming the beach scene in A Night at The Roxbury?
Chris Kattan: Yes, only because it didn't last a week -- only a day!
Question: Chris, first i just gotta say I love you, and the more I find out about you the more I love you, so I hope you don't mind, here's a few personal questions: What's your middle name and what's your father's nationality.
Chris Kattan: My middle name is Lee. My father's from Chicago.
Premiere Online: Were the characters always brothers?
Will Ferrell: No, but when we started to write the script, we just kind of ended up going in that direction. More opportunities in terms of the story and the comedy
Question: Did you guys have a lot of fun doing the movie?
Will Ferrell: Yes. We had a great time, and learned a lot in terms of the differences between film and television.
Question: Do you rub your nose a lot due to a crack cocaine habit?
Chris Kattan: Actually, it's peyote.
Will Ferrell: I had a bad bout with neosynephrine for three years.
Question: I think you guys are super hilarious and make a wicked duo. Do you have any contracts signed for more films with you guys starring?
Chris Kattan: Um, no. We have contracts for other things....
Question: How was it like working with Pam Anderson?
Chris Kattan: She was really sweet
Will Ferrell: And she showed us all her tattoos. Did you know she's Canadian?
Question: Either of you a fan of the music in the film?
Will Ferrell: Actually, yes, that was part of the fun of doing the movie.

Question: How was it to work with Jim Brewer?
Chris Kattan: He was a nice guy, very funny...
Will Ferrell: We both like him a lot and miss him.
Question: Did you campaign to get this movie made?
Chris Kattan: No, actually it started with Amy Heckerling and Lorne Michaels.
Will Ferrell: They had a conversation about the potential of doing a film about these characters, then came to us.
Question: Who inspired you to be a comedian?
Chris Kattan: I was always a huge fan of Charlie Chaplin, Buster Keaton and Peter Sellers.
Will Ferrell: I liked Andy Kaufman, Steve Martin, and Gene Hackman.
Question: Why is it based in LA and not in NYC like it is in the SNL sketch?
Chris Kattan: New York is too cool for these guys. The LA Club scene is much more appropriate for the cheese factor.
Will Ferrell: Besides, the sketch itself is based on a guy we saw in a Los Angeles dance club.
Premiere Online: Were you ever into the club scene?
Will Ferrell: No
Chris Kattan: Only when I did heroin in Junior High. Then I got into yoga.
Will Ferrell: I've been kicked out of a LOT of clubs.
Question: I like Mr. Peepers, whatever happened to him?
Chris Kattan: I actually was going to try him this week, with Kelsey Grammer.
Question: Just saw the Ray of Light video on MTV with you guys in it, whose idea was that?
Chris Kattan: Is it already on? We filmed that last week! Amy Heckerling did it. I hope you liked it.
Question: Who are some of the upcoming guests on SNL?
Chris Kattan: Lucy Lawless from "Xena", Ben Stiller, Jennifer Love Hewitt and David Spade.
Will Ferrell: ...and Carol Channing. And the dog from Frasier.
Question: Do you watch pro wrestling?
Chris Kattan: Can't get enough. But only in the morning. And if I'm on a date!
Will Ferrell: I have a match this weekend at Madison Square Garden vs. Carol Channing.
Chris Kattan: I'm going with the dog from Frasier to see it.
Question: How did you guys start in acting?
Chris Kattan: First I took 8 years of talking class. Then I was spotted talking. I got a role on Moesha. And the rest is history!
Will Ferrell: I got in car accident the other day. I don't wanna talk about it.
Question: Is Saturday Night Live coming out with another movie?
Will Ferrell: Yes, in the spring, look to see "Superstar" starring Molly Shannon as Mary Catherine Gallagher. I'm in it.
Premiere Online: Will, your love scene with Molly in A Night at The Roxbury -- was it difficult?
Will Ferrell: Yes. I was in a horrible car accident. I'd rather not talk about it. I've trained with the best though. That's right -- Carol Channing!
Question: I think you two are the best! How do you guys come up with the weird characters you play?
Will Ferrell: We spend a lot of time riding the NY subway system
Chris Kattan: I like to blindfold myself and take long walks for hours and eventually something will come up.

Chris Kattan: Sometimes our backs get pretty sore.

Chris Kattan: He was one of the best
Will Ferrell: Chris was as nice a guy as he was talented, and it truly is a shame what happened.

Chris Kattan: I love listening to music. And watching "Spartacus"
Question: Will, if the moon was made of cheese would you eat it?
Will Ferrell: No, of course not. But if it was made of spare ribs, I would eat it in a second.
Question: What will be different this season on SNL?
Chris Kattan: There will be no sound.
Will Ferrell: And halfway through the season, we will be replaced by robots. Other than that, everything's the same!
Question: Hey Chris! You are so good. I want to know why u decided to be in "A Night At The Roxbury"?
Chris Kattan: Well, we created the characters, therefore we had to have something to do with it! Why are you asking me this?
Question: I saw you on Conan and you were amazing! Do you like Conan O'Brien?
Will Ferrell: Yes. It's always a lot of fun to go on his show. He's extremely funny and makes you feel really comfortable. Besides, there's a keg of beer in the green room.
Question: Do you have any say in what your characters do or what they say?
Will Ferrell: Yes, we pretty much write all the sketches, and we wrote the movie, so get off my back!
Question: SNL is my favorite show. How do you come up with material for the show?
Chris Kattan: First of all, it depends on the guest host for that week...
Will Ferrell: ...and the weather.

Chris Kattan: On SNL, doing Mango.
